Heading to the Coast-video

During a visit to McCarthy in late June, we took advantage of a nice weather window on the coast between Cordova and Yakutat, and headed that direction in our plane.

We stopped at Kayak Island, then continued on to another unnamed island, and ended the day in Cordova. The highlight of the trip was the kids creating a little “house” on the beach where they happily played for hours, finding large patches of lupine in full bloom, spotting young seagulls, then ending the day with fish tacos at Baja Taco in Crodova.
