A Perfect Day at Lake George

We love sharing our flying adventures with friends and family, but its not that often where schedules and weather line up to make it happen. When my cousin Matthew and his family came to visit from Pittsburgh, we had one free day where our schedules aligned to possibly get out for an airplane adventure.

To take the whole family, Woodsen would take three trips in the airplane, but with good weather forecasted for nearby Lake George, and permission from a friend to ferry our family from an airstrip on the Knik, close to Lake George, we decided to go for it.

The day turned out to be one of the best I’ve experienced at Lake George, and it was such a treat to share it with family.
