Weekend Airplane adventure to Seldovia, Homer & Ninilchik Vlog

If you’ve been following a bit you’ve probably noticed that what started as a blog has transitioned to featuring more videos recently. Woodsen and I were talking about this transition the other day, and I realized that creating videos takes a bit less brainpower and feels more approachable during our busy summer, when we are on the go, kids are home, and interruptions are frequent. I’m guessing I will write more about our adventures during the winter, but videos seem to be where my digital creativity leans during the summer.

I’ve loved the upbeat feel of the videos I’ve made, and my kids love watching them, but I’ve also wanted to tell more of a story in them. I finally went ahead and attempted to narrate our recent trip to Seldovia, Homer, and Ninilchik, and while I’m sure there’s room to grow, I’m so excited to have figured out a few of the initial roadblocks to putting this together, and I’m excited to see where I go from here.

So, without further ado, I introduce to you my first “YouTube” video (as my kids and I call it), even though it probably won’t find its way to YouTube anytime soon.
