Hiking the Lane Basin Trail in Hatchers Pass-Video

After my friend Britta introduced me to the Lane Basin Trail when Atlee was a Toddler, it’s been my hands-down favorite place to hike and explore in Hatchers Pass. While the rocky “road” that leads to it (past the Reed Lakes parking lot off Archangel Road) makes it a bit trickier to reach, I still try to make it a priority to enjoy it at least once a year.

Last Saturday we had a day off with nothing planned, and with good weather forecasted, we decided to head up to enjoy a family hike up the Lane Basin trail.
